BARREL SPIDER

Defense: Similar to Pot Spiders, these Heartless appear from barrels in Monstro (or elsewhere in other worlds.) They're not too fast, but they do explode and cause a lot of damage.

Strategy: Destroy the Barrel Spiders quickly to make sure you're not caught in the blast. If you kill the spider before it self-destructs, you won't be harmed by the explosion. If it explodes, sometimes the blast will catch other Heartless and stun them.

SEARCH GHOST
Items Dropped: Hi-Potion (4%), Mega-Potion (2%), Bright Gem (8%)

Defense: Search Ghosts can teleport from one place to another, making them hard to track. Their ranged attack can draw HP out of you or your minions.

Strategy: Try to get in a full combo before the ghost disappears. If you miss it, wait until it starts to reappear, and get it right when the orange target appears on its body. If you hit the ghosts with purple balls of light floating around it, it will drop large HP balls.

RARE TRUFFLE
Items Dropped: 10 Hits - Elixir (100%), Mystery Goo (40%); 50 Hits - Elixir (100%), Mystery Goo (100%), Shiitake Rank; 100 Hits - Megaelixir (100%), Mystery Goo (100%), Matsutake Rank

Defense: Rare Truffles only appear in specific places in the game. They have no defense, but just keep jumping until you hit them.

Strategy: If you want to try for items, try to keep the Truffle in the air by hitting it each time it comes down. Refer to the Mushroom Guide for tips.
